Good afternoon BSA community,
We hope you and yours are faring well.
It’s hard to believe that we have spent the past ten weeks in our homes, interacting with others via teleconferencing. As we have been sheltered in place, we have lost loved ones to disease and lost members of our community to violence from authorities. It is difficult to process any piece of these challenges and I hope you are considering your values as you process your response. Your values are important and I know you will connect them to your actions.
In all of these challenges, we are in need, more now than before, of a deep appreciation for the humanity of all of our brothers and sisters. In Lincoln’s phrase, we are now in need of “our better angels.”
Please be safe in all you do. We look forward to seeing you before long.
